The Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters (DKNVS) awards two scientific prizes to young researchers every year; one in the field of natural sciences, and the other in the field of the humanities.
Each prize amounts to NOK 75.000.
The prizes are financed by I.K. Lykkes foundation.
Requirements for proposed scientists:
- must be under 35 years of age at the time of award (March 2023)
- must be a Norwegian or foreign researcher at a Norwegian research institution
- must have demonstrated outstanding talent, originality and effort
- must have achieved particularly good results in their professional fields
